Questions people ask before they start

How does the 7-day trial work?
Pick Pro, sign in with Slack, and you're on the full plan for seven days. You'll be asked for a card at signup so there's no interruption on day eight; you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel from the billing page at any point during the trial with no charge.
What counts as an "active" decision?
A decision that's still open for votes. Once it's decided, implemented, stalled, or superseded, it no longer counts toward the cap — it stays in your log. Pro allows 500 open at once; that's more than most teams run in a year.
Do voters need a Verdo account or a Slack seat?
No. Voters get a link. It opens in any browser on any device. If they're in your Slack, they'll also get a DM. If they're not — a client, a contractor, someone on another team — the link still works. Voters are never counted or charged.
Is it really per workspace, not per seat?
Yes. Pro is $49 for the workspace whether you have 5 people or 500. Per-seat pricing punishes you for including people in decisions, which is the opposite of what we want.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, the Slack integration pauses and the dashboard becomes read-only for 90 days, and you can still search and export every decision you've ever made. After those 90 days the workspace's decisions are permanently deleted. Reactivate before then to pick up where you left off.
Where is my data stored?
In the United States (AWS us-east-1) on Supabase. Slack tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. See the security page for the full picture.
