Slack is where decisions happen. It's also where they disappear.

Polls count hands. Meetings end without minutes. Threads scroll into the dark. Six weeks later someone asks the question again, and the whole debate restarts from zero.

Threads don't end. They get scrolled past.

Forty-one replies, three emoji votes, and no sentence that starts with "We decided." The thread is still open because nobody closed it.

Polls count votes. Nobody owns the result.

Eight people picked Option B. Then what? Without a name and a date, a poll is a survey — interesting, and consequence-free.

"Wait, did we already decide this?"

The most expensive sentence in your Slack. Every time it's asked, your team pays for the same decision twice.

Verdo in 21 seconds

Transcript: Another thread. Still no decision. One command. Options, owner, deadline. Everyone votes from a link. No signup. The verdict posts itself. Every decision, on record. 30 days later: did it work? Try Verdo free for 7 days.

One command. A real outcome. A record that stays.

Verdo lives in Slack and does three things a poll can't: it sets a deadline, names an owner, and writes the result down where you'll find it again.

Type /verdo in any channel

Add options, pick a method, set a deadline, name who decides. Or react ✅ to any message and Verdo drafts it for you.

The verdict posts itself

Deadline hits. Verdo tallies, applies your authority rule, posts the result with the owner's name, and files the record. 30 days later it asks: did it work?

Not a poll. A verdict.

Polling tools are built to measure sentiment. Verdo is built to close the loop. The difference is everything that happens after the vote.

Questions about Verdo

What is Verdo?
Verdo is a Slack app that turns team debates into recorded decisions with a deadline, a decision rule, an optional owner and a searchable decision log.
Do voters need a Verdo account?
No. Voters use a link from Slack, email, a phone or any browser, with no account, seat or install required.
How is Verdo different from a Slack poll?
A Slack poll counts votes. Verdo also closes at a deadline, applies a majority or consensus rule, can name an owner, logs the result and checks 30 days later whether it worked.
What happens when the deadline hits?
Verdo tallies the votes, applies your decision rule, posts the result in Slack and files it in your decision log. If you named an owner, the result tags them.
How much does Verdo cost?
Verdo Pro is $49 per month per workspace, with one workspace per subscription. There are no per-seat fees, voters are always free, and Pro starts with a 7-day free trial.
Is a card required for the free trial?
Yes. The 7-day trial needs a card, and you can cancel anytime before it ends.
Can I export my decisions?
Yes. Both plans export decisions as CSV or JSON, and export keeps working for 90 days after a plan ends.
Does Verdo work with Microsoft Teams?
Not yet. Microsoft Teams support is planned for the Business plan, with no committed date.
Does Verdo use AI?
The /verdo suggest command sends only the decision title to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) and returns option suggestions. No votes, participants or workspace data are sent. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate, irrelevant or incomplete — they are a starting point, not a recommendation. See the security page for details.

Stop deciding things twice.

Install Verdo, type /verdo on the next thing your team is circling, and watch it close.
